Well hello blog! It has been quite some time! Life has been rolling, and the time passed has been a time of wonderful reflection, growth and molding with my Creator. It has been an amazing time, a time of ups and downs molding me and reminding me who He created me to be....reminding me that relationships start & revolve around Him. God has blessed me with some AMAZING friendships and over the past several months through various trials, God has renewed those friendships in a way that I cannot even explain. He allowed me to see some negatives in my life that kept me from where I was supposed to be, although in those moments I felt that is where God desired. It was a hard journey, quite heart wrenching at times, but one that reminds me that He gives and takes away, but ultimately He is doing what is best for His children as He guides us in our paths.
So, as I walked this journey, this song by Sarah Reeves came on and it spoke to me so much...I am His instrument, my life a melody to His Holy Name, the song of my life to Him, I want it to be the sweetest sound to His ears. And even in the fire, and boy has there been some flames, I'm going to praise my Savior. The molding has been a little messy, but He continues to cleanse me with His amazing Grace!!!
So here are the words:
Sweet, Sweet Sound...
I am an instrument of the living God
My life a melody to His name
More than the songs I sing
Worship is everything
I live to glorify my King
Hear the song of my life
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound
I raise this anthem high
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound
Through all the mire and clay
You're washing me with grace
You carry me, oh Lord, through it all
So I will testify even in the fire
I live to praise my Savior
Hear the song of my life
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound
I raise this anthem high
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound
Let everything that has breath
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord
And all creation will sing Hallelujah
Hear the song of my life
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound
I raise this anthem high
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound
(Let it be a sweet, sweet sound)
